The course Business Law is a fundamental component of the academic training for students enrolled in the undergraduate program in Business Administration. It is designed to provide students with a structured and comprehensive understanding of the legal principles and frameworks governing commercial activity, economic relations, and corporate behavior in a modern market economy. In the context of increasing legal complexity, global economic integration, and the expansion of entrepreneurship, the ability to understand and apply business law is no longer a secondary skill, but a core professional competency. This discipline aims to equip students not only with theoretical knowledge of civil, commercial, and corporate law, but also with practical insights into how legal mechanisms function in real business contexts. Through the study of contracts, company formation and operation, obligations, commercial transactions, and legal responsibility, students will develop analytical thinking and legal reasoning essential to informed business decision-making. Special emphasis is placed on the application of legal norms in business relationships, ensuring legality, predictability, and ethical compliance in all entrepreneurial actions. The course content corresponds to the curriculum requirements approved by the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and is aligned with contemporary national legislation, especially the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova, as well as relevant international legal standards. The structure of the discipline supports a progressive and logical accumulation of knowledge, from the general principles of law to the specificities of business entities and legal acts. This course also supports the development of a responsible, legally informed, and proactive managerial culture. The students are encouraged to approach legal situations with both rigor and critical thinking, understanding the legal environment not as a barrier, but as a framework for stability and innovation in economic life. In this spirit, Business Law becomes not only a theoretical subject but a practical instrument for every future business professional. 347.7(075.8) |
