Abstract:
The aim of the paper is to make an analyse of the background relations between The Republic of Moldova and European Union and to identify the main steps which Moldova should do for becoming an EU member state. Moreover, this work reflects the impact of the country's high level of corruption on the pre-accession process. Also, in the paper are listed some main steps which Moldova's Government undertake for tackling the problem of corruption. The objectives of the work are to demonstrate the evolution of anti-corruption trial in the Republic of Moldova, especially between 2016-2022 period. That period of time reflects the intensification of the Moldova's relations with the European Union. At the same time, the authors made a comparation between the Republic of Moldova's results in anti-corruption war and other EU's candidates states.
