dc.description.abstract The overall quality and efficiency of higher education institutions in Moldova was declining. At universities in Moldova teaching is still very teacher-centered and focused on the transmission and recall of knowledge from teacher to individual students. The overall aim is to improve the quality of higher education programs in Moldova, so they become more relevant for the labor market, also internationally. This article focuses on the experience and practices of innovative teaching-learning methods used by the University of Glouchestershire,Great Britain and Aalborg University, Danemark .The introduction of these innovative teaching methods will increase the quality of teaching and will make higher education more relevant for business, economy and society. Methods of research used:literature review, comparative analysis among three universities: Glouchestershire, Aalborg şi AESM, study visits and students interviews. In the case of foreign universities, teaching-learning activities are based on innovative student-centered methods , such as PBL, Kahoot or experiental learning, institutional factor offering support and creating a favorable environment. Analizing the results of implementing innovative methods in AESM, there are several conclusions: teachers and students appreciate it more than traditional teaching, it contributes to higher employability of students, but it also requires a more flexible institutional environment and a change of way of thinking.
