Abstract:
Human trafficking is one of the most serious contemporary forms of organized crime and a systemic violation of fundamental human rights. In the context of globalization and digitalization, the phenomenon has experienced a significant diversification of its forms of manifestation, going beyond the traditional paradigm of sexual exploitation and including economic, criminal and digital exploitation. The study analyzes modern forms of human trafficking and international prevention mechanisms, with an emphasis on global and regional legal instruments, as well as institutional cooperation. The methodology used is interdisciplinary, based on doctrinal, normative and empirical analysis of data provided by international bodies and public authorities. The conclusion highlights the need to strengthen international cooperation and a victim-centered approach
