dc.description.abstract	This article examines consumer protection in the Republic of Moldova in accordance with European standards. The study highlights the main legislative acts and public policies regulating consumer rights, product safety, and dispute resolution mechanisms. Special attention is given to the alignment of national legislation with European Union requirements in order to ensure a high level of consumer protection. The paper also analyzes measures aimed at consumer awareness and education, as well as the role of state institutions in market supervision. The findings emphasize that harmonization with European standards strengthens consumer trust and contributes to a fair and competitive economic environment.
