AI in Education: Increase in Efficiency or Amplification of Inequalities?

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on the educational process and to determine whether it contributes primarily to increasing efficiency or to amplifying inequalities. The relevance of the topic is determined by the rapid integration of AI technologies in education and their influence on access to learning resources. Using methods such as survey, analysis and synthesis, the study highlights that artificial intelligence facilitates understanding, saves time, and supports learning activities. At the same time, the results indicate that unequal access to technology and digital skills may lead to disparities among students. Therefore, artificial intelligence in education represents both an opportunity for improving learning efficiency and a potential factor of inequality, depending on its accessibility and use.
