| dc.description.abstract | The article examines the transformation of education for the 2026 horizon, promoting the transition from simple digitalization to a profound change of mentality. Based on „creative destruction” theory, the research explores digital education models, student-centered learning and entrepreneurial university, providing international examples such as the Pepite or EXIST programs. Key trends identified include AI customization, immersive XR environments and micro-learning. While innovation enhances performance, barriers such as resilience to change, the digital divide and ethical challenges of AI persist. The study concludes that the adoption of these models is vital for the competitiveness and retention of talents in the universities of the Republic of Moldova.
