| dc.description.abstract | There has been growing interest among researchers about the impact of information overload on our lives lately. It is becoming clearer that young people especially are feeling burnt out by the huge volume of data they encounter day to day, which could, by the way, be from social media, the internet, or simply schoolwork. Always going through and using social media platforms like TikTok or like Instagram could easily overload our minds, making it harder for us to concentrate and think straight. This can trigger what's called decision fatigue, when even minor choices feel overwhelming. We researched this topic and will present some ways to reduce its effects.
