dc.description.abstract In the context of increasing turbulence in the global macroeconomic environment, driven by increased geopolitical risks, inflation, and financial market instability, improving external risk management tools in the banking sector is particularly important. The relevance of this study stems from the need to increase commercial banks' resilience to exogenous shocks and ensure their adaptability in conditions of high uncertainty. The aim of this study is to systematize and evaluate the effectiveness of modern external risk management tools using S.A. FinComBank as an example. The methodological basis of the work is comprised of systems and comparative analysis methods, economic and statistical methods, and qualitative risk assessment tools. The study focuses on tools such as stress testing, scenario analysis, risk exposure diversification, and digital technologies for risk monitoring and forecasting. It was found that integrating digital solutions into the risk management system helps improve the accuracy of risk assessment, speed up management decision-making, and reduce the bank's vulnerability to external influences. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of applying the obtained results to optimize the risk management system and increase the financial stability of commercial banks.
