Personnel Risk Management in the Context of Improving Organizational Performance

Abstract

In an organizational environment characterized by complexity, volatility and constant pressure to achieve high performance standards, organizational quality becomes an essential strategic objective. Human resources are the central element of this process, and risks associated with personnel, such as employee turnover, lack of skills, demotivation or poor communication, can significantly affect the performance and sustainability of the organization. The paper aims to highlight the importance of personnel risk management in ensuring organizational performance, to analyze the impact of personnel risks on organizational performance. The study is based on a mixed approach, combining theoretical analysis of the specialized literature with an empirical study conducted within nine companies in Romania. The results highlight the existence of a direct correlation between the level of personnel risk management and the achievement of performance objectives by the organization. Based on the findings, a set of recommendations is proposed for reducing personnel vulnerabilities and strengthening the quality culture at the organizational level. The article makes contributions both at a theoretical level, by clarifying the relationship between personnel risks and organizational performance, and at a practical level, by providing an applicable framework for the continuous improvement of human resource management.
