| dc.description.abstract | In the article the clash of two principle socioeconomic development paradigms is analyzed, and two modern economic conceptions oriented towards sustainable development are highlighted. Having analyzed the correlational character of the conceptions, the author reveals that the circular economy manifests essential continuity related to the green economy, on the one hand, while being in a certain opposition to it, on the other hand.
