Circular Economy – a Modern Approach to Business Management

Abstract

This article explores the connection between the circular economy and ecology, emphasizing how adopting this model can transform business management and protect the environment. The circular economy promotes efficient resource use through reduction, reuse, and recycling, minimizing waste and environmental impact. Thus, a transition is made from a linear “produce-consume-dispose” model to one that involves a more responsible and sustainable use of resources. The article emphasizes the importance of integrating the circular economy into business strategies to support sustainable development, reduce carbon emissions and protect ecosystems. Implementing this model not only reduces environmental impact, but also brings significant economic benefits, such as cost savings through resource reuse, increased efficiency and increased competitiveness in the market. It also discusses the challenges faced by companies in adopting the circular economy, including the need for appropriate public policies and investments in innovative technology.
