Development of Environmentally Responsible Business in Republic of Moldova

Abstract

Corporate social responsibility is a concept in which companies consider not only their financial interests but also the impact of their activities on society and the environment. In recent years, this topic has become particularly relevant, as businesses increasingly face the need to make decisions that align with not only economic but also ethical and environmental standards. The implementation of corporate social responsibility principles covers various aspects such as respecting workers' rights, supporting local communities, environmental sustainability, and ethical business practices. Applying these principles helps companies not only improve their reputation but also reduce risks, increase customer loyalty, and attract investors, which contributes to long-term stability and business growth.
