The Impact of the Cyberbullying Phenomenon on the Fundamental Rights of Adolescents: Risk Factors and Preventive Measures

Abstract

In this article we analyze the phenomenon of cyberbullying, what it represents, how it manifests, the issues faced by teenagers, the risk factors, its impact and prevention measures. As technology advances, the risks from the online environment intensify and become a serious cause for concern. The implementation of effective strategies for preventing and combating this phenomenon is necessary. To this end, several strategies have been proposed to reduce the severity and duration of the conflict consequences of cyberbullying, as well as relevant actions for the medium and long term. This study aims to identify the risk factors of cyberbullying that promote its occurrence, including online anonymity, lack of digital education and excessive internet exposure, also focusing on prevention measures for this aggression, including the role of education, parental responsibility, and school-level interventions.
