Reproduction type in agriculture: assessment method

Abstract

It is emphasized that the development of an evaluation method of economic independence of manufacturers able to conduct both basic and expanded reproduction and which would be accessible for practical implementation by the specialists of agricultural enterprises and would be reflecting modern approaches to evaluating the levels of land management efficiency is in a high demand from both a theoretical and practical perspective. A key metric which allows to estimate economic safety of an enterprise is the operating leverage which is classified into the following two types: a price-based and a natural operating leverage respectively. It allows to determine relatively quickly an impact of revenue growth on the total net sales profit of an enterprise. Formulas for their calculation and the inter-relation between the two types of operating leverage are suggested. The work elaborates on a method of gradation of reproduction zones into a basic and an expanded type of reproduction depending on the coefficient of a price-based operating leverage. The given inter-relation is vividly presented on graphs. Based on an example of a specific agricultural enterprise the calculations for determining the above-mentioned zones are performed. УДК: 338.436.33. ************************************************************************************************************************************ В статье подчеркивается, что востребованным как в теоретическом, так и практическом аспектах является разработка методики оценки экономической независимости товаропроизводителей, способных вести как простое, так и расширенное воспроизводство, и которая была бы доступной для практического применения специалистами сельскохозяйственных предприятий и в тоже время отражала бы современные подходы оценки эффективности уровня хозяйствования на земле. Ключевым показателем, по которому можно говорить о состоянии экономической безопасности предприятия, является эффект операционного рычага (левериджа), который имеет две формы – ценовой и натуральный. Он позволяет достаточно быстро определить, как повлияют изменения объема продаж на прибыль от реализации продукции. Приводятся формулы для их определения, а также взаимосвязь между ними. В работе обоснована методика градации зон воспроизводства на простой и расширенный тип воспроизводства в зависимости от коэффициента ценового операционного левериджа. Данная зависимость наглядно представлена на графиках. На примере конкретного сельскохозяйственного предприятия выполнены расчеты по обоснованию указанных зон. УДК: 338.436.33
