dc.description.abstract	In the last decade debates on research in the field of accounting has become more complex due to the influence of field research on research activity in general both at national and international level. In this article, we propose to carry out a quantitative analysis of the state of the research in the field of accounting in the Republic of Moldova at the moment, as well as to identify the causes of the analyzed situation and the possible trends in the research activity in the mentioned field.
