dc.description.abstract	The article examines the theoretical foundations of the securities market, as well as schematically demonstrated the organization of the securities market. The definitions of the security category have been studied. The definition of an initial public offering of securities on the market is considered. The experience of initial public offering of securities in the Republic of Belarus has been studied.
