Abstract:
Economic growth in the Republic of Moldova is largely determined by consumption, which is now higher than the volume of GDP. An important role in economic development is private consumption. At the same time, the importance of remittances for private consumption is indisputable. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate this dependence using modern econometric methods and to determine the percentage of dependence on private consumption of remittances.
