Abstract:
This presentation explores the main challenges students face in learning accounting, based on survey data collected from university students (Academy of Economic Studies Of Moldova). Accounting, while essential, is often perceived as a difficult subject due to its theoretical complexity and limited practical exposure. The research identifies key obstacles such as the lack of prior experience, difficulty in understanding concepts, and insufficient use of practical tools like accounting software. In response, students suggest more interactive teaching methods, increased use of real-life examples, and the integration of digital tools into the curriculum. The aim is to make accounting education more accessible, engaging, and aligned with labor market demands. This work proposes concrete solutions to improve the learning process and better support students in their academic journey. CZU: 378.147:657.1; JEL: M41
