dc.description.abstract The difficulties met by students at the beginning of their career ladder has been greatly highlighted among the youth and has become one of the reasons many students are skeptical in whether one needs higher education or not. In this project I used a google forms as my main research method, where 70 accounting students, graduates and even junior accountants have voted and expressed their opinion regarding how efficient the learning system is. Accordingly, we had a bigger share of people who consider the educational system could improve, especially when it comes to the amount of knowledge a student can apply after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting in A.S.E.M. However, we also underlined the fact that teachers have been listening to the students’ demands and started including a lot of practical activities within the lessons, such as filling up paperwork that all accountants work with in our country and also bringing public figures from the economical field that communicate us important financial facts and information. The results from these additions were reflected in our project through comparing the knowledge our students get from the degree and what employers need when looking for a potential accountant.
