Abstract:
In the economic context, regional development and the System of National Accounts are closely related, even more so in the situation in which the most real and pertinent analysis of this development is sought.. This system is precisely the guarantor of real information on the basis of which the macroeconomic indicators of the result can be determined. Therefore, the present research aims to analyze the actual development situation at the level of the 8 development regions in Romania, through the lens of some key indicators of the System of National Accounts. An analysis whose outcome will lead to the creation of an overall picture of the real situation in this country.
