Abstract: | Studying accounting at university presents numerous challenges, requiring students to master complex financial principles, tax regulations, and accounting software. Financial struggles add to pressure, as many students need to work while studying, yet most available jobs require full-time commitment. Additionally, low salaries entry-level accountants in Moldova push many graduates to seek better opportunities abroad, contributing to a talent drain. This article explores the main challenges accounting students face, from academic difficulties to financial pressures and career prospects, while also suggesting possible solutions.
