dc.description.abstractThe investments in transport sector ensure the increasing of the invested capital compared to that realized in other fields of activity. To ensure a sustainable economic development for the Republic of Moldova in the future, is needed an efficient transport system, but this sector faces various problems. The main challenges that Moldova faces in the transport sector start from several key issues in the field. Each sector has several issues that require special resolution. Transport has benefic socio-economic effects only when it is enhanced in a sustainable way. Are recommended more solutions to overcome the problems in the transport sector in the Republic of Moldova, which is seen as an important economic factor. By the transport system as a whole must benefit all segments of the society, regardless of the type of transport. JEL: R40en_US
