Social initiatives are essential for addressing societal issues, yet many people hesitate to participate. This paper examines the psychological and organizational factors that hinder participation, such as diffusion of responsibility, bystander effect, mistrust in fund allocation, and fear of criticism. Through a charity initiative example, the paper highlights the challenges faced in organizing and executing social projects, even when one anticipates difficulties, emphasizing the resilience required to overcome obstacles and ensure success.
