Young people represent the most dynamic and adaptable group in an economy, driving innovation and creativity. With 1.8 billion individuals aged 10 to 24, this generation is the largest in history, with 90% living in developing countries. Youth contribute to community resilience, social progress, and political change, positioning themselves as key agents in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Equipping young people with the necessary skills and opportunities can fuel innovative development. Youth-led organizations must be empowered to translate the 2030 Agenda into actionable policies at local, regional, and national levels. Their involvement in monitoring, reviewing, and implementing the UN 2030 Agenda is crucial for ensuring long-term impact. The United Nations (UN) plays a critical role in safeguarding and supporting youth by providing a platform for their voices in economic, political, and social progress. Through participatory governance, young people can shape policies that directly affect their future, reinforcing democracy and sustainable development. This article explores youth development, innovation, and their societal contributions, emphasizing their potential to create a better world. The research follows a qualitative approach based on documentary evidence, focusing on how youth participation accelerates SDG progress. By empowering young people, fostering innovation, and integrating their perspectives into governance, societies can build more inclusive and sustainable futures.
