Abstract: MAIB, the most widely used commercial bank in the Republic of Moldova, has become a successful model in digitalization and financial innovation. Through investments in mobile applications, internet banking, contactless payments, and artificial intelligence (AI), MAIB has increased operational efficiency, improved customer experience, and strengthened its market position. Technologies such as AI have enabled fraud detection, service personalization, and 24/7 customer support. The study highlights the benefits of digitalization, as well as challenges such as initial costs and cybersecurity.
