dc.description.abstract | In recent years, universities around the world have had to rethink how they operate, responding to major challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, armed conflicts, and economic instability. This study explores how online education has evolved from a temporary solution adopted during crises into a continuously applied instrument, capable of ensuring educational resilience through the structural transformations involved in integrating digital learning into higher education. The article examines academic literature, institutional best practices, and regulatory adjustments that have accompanied the accelerated adoption of digital technologies in education. Particular attention is given to essential elements of e-learning, such as student-centered teaching, the development of flexible digital infrastructure, and policy frameworks that allow for rapid adaptation. The findings indicate that, when properly implemented, digital education can reduce inequalities, maintain academic cohesion, and provide students with real autonomy in unstable contexts.
