Economia GIG – rezultat al platformizării pieței muncii

Abstract

Platformizarea economiei, termen apărut recent în teoria economică, ca rezultat al tendinței de optimizare a proceselor de business prin dezvoltarea platformelor digitale, a provocat schimbări majore în procesele și sistemele economice, afectând toate sferele economice, inclusiv piața muncii. Tendințele de platformizare a pieței muncii au transformat fenomenul gig, care se referă la relațiile de muncă pe termen scurt, per proiect, într-un trend de amploare, ce cuprinde un număr tot mai mare de specialiști disponibili să-și presteze serviciile pe această piață. Articolul are ca scop analiza premiselor ce au dus la dezvoltarea economiei gig, dar și a impactului pe care îl are economia gig asupra jucătorilor de pe această piață. De asemenea, autorul acordă o atenție deosebită tipurilor de platforme care intermediază relațiile de muncă de tip gig, dar și analizei materialelor factologice, care confirmă importanța acestui fenomen, respectiv necesitatea realizării cercetărilor în domeniu. The trends of platformization of the labour market have transformed the Gig phenomenon, which refers to short-term work relationships, per project, into a large-scale trend, which includes an increasing number of specialists available to provide their services on this market. The article aims to analyze the premises that led to the development of the Gig economy, but also the impact that the Gig economy has on the players on this market. Particular attention in the article is given to the types of platforms that mediate Gig work relationships, but also the analysis of factual materials that confirm the importance of this phenomenon, respectively the need to carry out research in the field.
