Abstract: Although there is no single definition for the term "quality", several answers compete to delimit this notion which is not vague, but vast. From a business point of view, quality has a cost, but it is profitable in terms of image and turnover. Lack of quality leads to increased costs, customer dissatisfaction and decreased turnover.
