Abstract:
The paper analyzes the concepts of justice and equity in higher education institutions, offering a theoretical and philosophical approach to these fundamental notions in the organization of society. Starting from the distinctions between distributive justice and corrective justice, the study explores the evolution of these concepts from Antiquity to the present, as well as the way in which they are reflected in modern theories of social justice. The contributions of thinkers such as Aristotle, John Rawls or Amartya Sen are presented, emphasizing the importance of the balance between individual rights and the common good. Through a qualitative analysis of bibliographical sources, the paper aims to highlight the importance of applying the principles of equity and justice in building a balanced, fair and inclusive society.
