Abstract:
Mathematical optimization deals with selecting the best element from a set of available alternatives. This means solving problems in which the extremes (maximum or minimum) of a real function are sought. The topic of this article is relevant, due to the fact that it can be applied in various economic domains, especially in solving business-related problems.
