Abstract:
The extent of artificial intelligence can be realized by contributing to the scientific, technological, economic and social development and progress of humanity. While AI is driving growth in many industries and bringing economic benefits, it is causing deep disruption and structural transformations in the labor market, in both positive and negative ways. We are witnessing the replacement of job roles by AI-driven automation and a growing demand for professionals with AI expertise, new professions emerging that did not exist before. On the other hand, the introduction of technologies leads to the reduction of middle-skilled workers, increases the gap between low-wage and high-wage workers. Under these conditions, employees and employers must adapt to these challenges in the labor market that produce changes in the occupational structure by acquiring new skills. UDC: 331.52:004.8.
