Cartografierea mecanismului de finanțare al sistemului de sănătate în Republica Moldova

Abstract

The article represents the results of the research on the financing mechanism of the healthcare system in the Republic of Moldova and analyzes the public expenditures for healthcare in the period 2003 - 2022. The financing mechanism is one of the pillars of any health system, which decisively influences the provision of the health services and ensures the functioning of the health system over time. The purpose of this paper is mainly to determine the influencing factors and risk factors on the financing mechanism of the healthcare system in the Republic of Moldova, its advantages and disadvantages, as well as establishing the causes for the increase of health expenses and measures to reduce public health expenses to improve the optimal functioning of the health system.
