"Modern Finance from the Perspective of Sustainability of National Economies", International Scientific Conference (2024; Chişinău) On November 22nd-23rd, 2024, the Faculty of FINANCE of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM) successfully hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Modern Finance from the Perspective of Sustainability of National Economies”. The event, held in a hybrid format, brought together renowned experts from academia, the public and private sectors, including representatives of central and local public administration, as well as the banking and financial sector. The conference provided a platform for debate on key aspects of modern finance, with a focus on economic sustainability. The presentations were structured on four thematic panels, addressing topics such as: the role of banks and non-banking financial institutions in the context of modernization; public finance in the era of digital transformation; the evolution of financial market institutions and instruments; and the synergy between finance and innovation in business modeling.
