Actuality: Employee satisfaction is important because a person's attitude and beliefs affect their behavior. These can contribute to the employee working productively, or conversely, to working inefficiently. Satisfaction also affects the general condition of the person, because the person spends a good part of the day at work. Respectively, if the person is dissatisfied with the work he carries out, it also affects other areas of life. Objective: As benefits for the company, studying the degree of satisfaction will guarantee employee retention, increase productivity, reduce costs for recruitment and training, will ensure high quality products or services that will contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty. Research methods: In order to know the degree of satisfaction, profile questionnaires and / or interviews can be used. These tools measure the extent to which the employee is satisfied with the work he does, because it is imperative to match personal characteristics and values with those of the organization. Results: There are many reasons why employees become discouraged by their jobs, including organizational stress, lack of communication and appreciation, and limited opportunities for promotion. Management needs to find ways to improve these factors so that they have a high degree of employee satisfaction and retention in the workplace. JEL: M 54, M 52, M 51, J 33, J 62.en_US
