Abstract: The development of modern society can not be separated from the application of information technologies, which are present in almost all spheres of activity of the population, organizations, central and local public administration bodies. That is why leadership always interacts with the digital generation, which constantly develops new skills and possibilities. The next generation of business owners in Central and Eastern Europe (ECE) believes that adopting digitalization strategies will add value to their business, according to the PwC NextGen Survey 2019 survey conducted in Romania, Russia, Poland, Bulgaria and Albania. . Thus, almost 90% of the study participants want to capitalize on their digital knowledge and develop a suitable digitalization strategy, and in their opinion, the most emerging technologies for the future of companies are Internet of Things (82%), robots (57 %) and artificial intelligence (54%). It is a revolution that we live and strive for, each of us, at an individual and organizational level, to internalize it because in this way we will naturally move in the new environment. As soon as we have stopped joining the Digital word next to a business phrase, then we will know that we are truly "digital" leaders. JEL: M1; M15
