dc.description.abstractOnce gaining its Independence, the Republic of Moldova as many other former Soviet Socialist states suffered from emigration of the labour force and brain drain which affected, during the years, the economy of the newly-formed state. Therefore, the welfare of this country had to suffer from the leaving population and vice-versa – the population was suffering from the stagnation and hereby appears that vicious circle which bended its prospective. Nevertheless, the migration phenomena can have also a positive impact under the concept of brain circulation which, overall, they have to be estimated. JEL: J00, J11, J21en_US
