dc.description.abstractThis paper outlines the impact of clusters on small and medium enterprises (SME) development and to present the main steps taken by Moldovan authorities for generation of new clusters. The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between clusters and SMEs and explain how clusters can improve their competitiveness and internationalization. Considering that SMEs play a crucial role in economic development, job creation, amelioration of regional disparities, it is very important to help them to find new possibilities for development and growth. Thereby, clusters can be a good solution to tackle SMEs problems and constraints. JEL: M21.en_US
