Profilul statistic al sistemului de învățământ superior românesc în ultimii 100 de ani

Abstract

The paper presents a characterization of the Romanian higher education system in three distinct periods: the period 1918-1948, the period 1948-1989 and the period 1990-present. The author's wish was to investigate the orientation of the higher education system in the training of field specialists in the three historical periods. Statistical analyzes and structural comparisons were carried out at the level of the undergraduate study programs based on the official data issued by the National Institute of Statistics.
