Abstract

This article discusses the impact of the current socio-demographic situation in Novopolotsk on the region's economy, primarily on the labor market. The following indicators are described: population size; its age and sex structure; mortality of men and women of working age; population migration, provision of housing to the population. The conclusion is made about the negative impact of the current socio-demographic situation on the labor market in Novopolotsk. CZU 314.174(1-35)
