dc.description.abstractThe evolution of information and communication technologies has paved the way for unprecedented changes in education and learning. The possibilities of improving teaching, knowledge representation, experimentation, evaluation and management of the learning process enable the quality of this process to be improved provided that the most efficient tools and solutions are known and applied in an adaptable manner to each curricular area and of each field of knowledge, by age and educational levels, taking into account the combination of traditional methods with the most advanced technologies, giving the teacher the most important role as the one who must strike a balance between all these elements and having as a priority objective the student interest. In this paper we will address some of these highlights. Purpose: Starting from the national and European legislative provisions and analyzing the opportunities for improving the learning methods by applying the most advanced ITC technologies, the results and the positive effects of the implementation of the Web technology learning platforms will be presented, discussing the virtual companies method in economic field of higher education. Research Methods: Based on classifications of online tools and Web technology solutions applied through advanced learning methods, the conditions for their application and use will be analyzed, looking at the effects that have been recorded so far and further refinements.Results: A set of recommendations resulting from the experience gained through the use of such methods and proposals to improve the applied methodology.
