dc.description.abstractThe paper is the scientific study of the evolution of livestock in the country's livestock branch. It makes a comparative analysis of the current situation with that in 1990, are determined animal breeds that change over time and remain unchanged during the past 5 years. The scientific value of the work lies in forecasting livestock breeds until 2019 after taking into account the current situation and trends. The research results were obtained by applying econometric - linear regression, analysis data were used from the Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Moldova. We believe that the results can be considered by policy makers in production and quality regulations animal products. JEL CLASSIFICATION: Q-12en_US
