dc.description.abstractIn the present scientific endeavor we are talking about the flexibility of work and its impact on the increase of the employment. In this context, the significance of work flexibility for both the organization and the employees is shown. The defining characteristics of different forms of work flexibility such as: teleworking, part time work, job-share, flexible work, fixed-term work, on-demand work etc. are presented. All these forms of work flexibility are aimed at ensuring a balance between the family and the professional life. Also, the EU trends in the application of labor flexibility as a result of the implementation of concrete measures for this purpose have been presented. JEL: F15, F16, J62, J64en_US
