dc.description.abstractThe car market in the Republic of Moldova has become a profitable business niche, both for the official dealers of new cars, as well as for the persons who import cars from other countries to register and resell them profitably on the territory of the country, thus creating more unregistered business. The 2018 year continues the increasing trend from 2015. The purpose of the research is to present the evolution of sales and registration of new cars on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. Working methods: observation, economic analysis, economic stratification. The results are the following: comparison of the annual sales of new cars in dynamics for the years 2016-2018; calculating the market share of the company DAAC-Hermes in the sale of new cars for the years 2016-2018; brand representation of new cars sold for 2016- 2018; calculating changes for brand new cars sold for 2014-2018; distribution and evolutionary comparison of new cars sold for the period 2016-2018. The conclusion is that the registration and saling of new cars is on the rise in RM. JEL: A14, R41.en_US
