Abstract: The article discusses the current issues of fostering the personal potential of employees in the organization in the conditions of rapid changes in business and society. The paper defines the meaning and importance of emotional intelligence and analyses its components. The article draws conclusions on the ways for developing the emotional intelligence of employees. Among its key factors, the article mentions the leadership’s strength, a combination of the leadership various styles, organizational development, and staff training. JEL: M12.
