Abstract: | Actuality. Personalized medicine has become the key word in translational research with the promise of revolutionizing patient care. For many physicians, this revolution will take the form of improved disease prediction, preventive drugs, diagnostic testing, and treatment. Purpose. The comprehensive approach to the term personalized medicine reveals some aspects that need to be overcome in order to be successfully implemented. The purpose of the article is a clarification of modern approaches to personalized medicine through person-centered care, with economic impact to improve customer service satisfaction. Results. Personalized medicine is a powerful component of person-centered care.
