dc.description.abstractTourism as a branch of the national economy is in a continuous development. Its economic and social impact leads to a balance of payments, increases the foreign currency flow into the country and generates new jobs. This article’s aim is to present the actual situation of domestic tourism, via the present situation and aspects of tourism development. The author analyses the normative and institutional framework of the branch and describes the numerical, anthropic and natural tourism potential, typical and motivational forms of tourism that may be applied to the development of touristic potential: it describes the altercation as a distinct tourism motivation, hiking, touristic infrastructure, accommodations options, elucidates SWOT analyses and a PES one.en_US
