dc.description.abstractTeaching information literacy is a complex problem and it depends on the professional competencies of the staff working in the library. The present paper includes the results of the survey ,,Information literacy improvement for the users of the Scientific Library of the Academy of Economic Studies in the Republic of Moldova''. The purpose of the survey was to identify the library role in developing the abilities in information literacy at students, professors and researchers, and also to observe consumers' behaviour the new information environment. 1,004 respondents from 6 faculties participated in the survey. The research instrument used to be the survey based on the questionnaire on-line SurveyMonkey.en_US
