Abstract: The world of the village has a special place in national tourism, in the sense that here is the largest part of the traditions and customs that individualize us as a nation. The church and folk culture are essential elements of the concept of tourism with native rustic valences (synonymous in conceptual terms with rural tourism, but present in the urban space). From this point of view, the current territory of Botosani County was blessed by God with a rich cultural background of rustic fact, which can and must be valorized by tourism. Also, this region has been a source of inspiration (muse) for many generations of culture people (scholars, poets, artists, actors, painters, musicians, etc.) of the Romanian people such as Nicolae Iorga, Mihai Eminescu, George Enescu, Grigore Antipa, or Patriarch Teoctist. This extraordinarily rich (condensed) area from the perspective of cultural heritage needs to be exploited in a distinct tourist aspect, but especially by including it in integrated cross-border routes that include specific features from the Prutul de Sus Euroregion.
