Abstract: | Abstract Needs of consumers and demand of buyers for wines can be most satisfied only in case of constant coordinating (reduction in compliance) structures of the trade range with structure of demand of the buyers, developed on the basis of accurate classification, which is currently missing. The purpose of the conducted researches is systematization and updating of hierarchical classification of grape wines in the context of changes in national legislative and normative and technical acts in the field of grape wines. Research is carried out using the methods: comparative analysis, correlation analysis, analogy, induction and deduction, expertise, practical experience etc. Definitions and content hierarchical classification levels of grape wines are proposed orienting ourselves to the legislative and normative-technical acts in force in the Republic of Moldova. As a result of the conducted researches has been developed and presented in this work, including schematically, hierarchical classification of grape wines which includes 10 levels (in the descending order: class, subclass, secţion, category, subcategory, group, subgroup, type, subtype, variety).
